Use of CAPE and CAPE Members' Materials and Documents
CAPE has a policy of openness and generosity with regard to the use of materials produced by CAPE members. The following principles should apply:
1. All materials and documents produced by members collectively or on behalf of CAPE are the property of the organisation. They are available for use by all CAPE members and this is to be regarded as one of the benefits of membership. Materials and documents produced in this way will bear the CAPE logo and CAPE copyright is asserted for them.
2. Materials and documents produced by members collectively or on behalf of CAPE may be used by non-CAPE members only by applying for specific permission for each item. The CAPE logo and assertion of CAPE copyright must remain on such items. With these provisos, such items may be used for training for commercial gain, but must not be published in any form in part or in whole without specific permission.
3. All materials produced by individual CAPE members are the property of that member and/or of their employer if applicable. If these items are made available to the CAPE membership, members who use these documents must ensure that any logo or assertion of copyright or authorship remains on these items.
4. Any materials and documents produced as a result of amending, incorporating or otherwise using items which are the property of CAPE or of CAPE members or their employing bodies must acknowledge their sources.
